Horticulture

We work closely with a landscaping team, but once hard landscaping has been completed, we always install the planting ourselves. Careful positioning and correct planting is vital for a garden to grow in the way it should. We install for other designers as well as for our own projects, and are always happy to discuss how we can be of help in this area - whether it is an entirely new project, or a replanting of an existing space.

A design will not fully come to fruition until the second year in, and as such we carry out the aftercare on all our designs for that period of time (if London based) whilst overseeing any teams employed to look after designs outside of that area. We also offer consultation on other gardens. Our consultancy comes in various forms and levels, from one off daily sessions to seasonal check-ins and long term guidance and oversight of maintenance teams.

Whilst concentrating on our own designs, we also provide this service for other designers and for those needing to course correct the path of their established spaces from a botanical point of view. As a company we provide a service to bridge the gap between designer and on going maintenance; overseeing the development of the plants in their crucial first years and allowing the design to come to its full potential. This service comprises various made to measure components, from in person work and oversight to written reports and ‘manuals’. For more information on consultation services please contact our office – office@dariopizzidesign.com.

Due to demand, we have also recently developed a service that provides garden ‘staging’ for properties that are being prepared for photoshoots or being staged for sale. We can install addtional perennials, annuals and pots as well as garden accessories. Please contact beth@dariopizzidesign.com for more information.
